Thaís Muniz – Artist & designer
Thaís lives between Brazil and Europe, searching and sharing the aspects of Afro-Atlantic culture from the plurality of the turbans and head wraps, and its place on art, politics and aesthetics through the Turbante-se project. She started the project in 2012 in Salvador de Bahia and has since taken the head wrap culture from museums to festivals around the world. Inspiring people through workshops, performances and experiments in art and design.
